Our technician was there in a flash to help a group of college ladies on the way to a charity marathon. They were in a Audi A3 hurtling down the Chester Road in Ellesmere Port, desperate to make the marathon in time. It was all they needed to see the red light come on! In a rush they pulled over and accidentally picked up the diesel nozzle instead of the unleaded and managed to dispense £30 worth of the wrong fuel. They instantly knew what they had done and flew into a mega panic thinking they’d miss the match.
